It is never to early for Christmas

My Christmas tree, each year goes up September 25th.    My Granddaughter Tiffany started the tradition. Tiffany's Birthday is on Sept. 25th and one year when she was much younger she wanted to put up the Christmas tree for her birthday and the Tradition has continued.

Recipe - Something made up

Dinner was a hit tonight: I call it "Something Made Up"
Here is all you need:
  1. About 2 cups cut up left over chicken
  2. 1 can cream of broccoli soup
  3. 1 can cream of celery soup
  4. 1 can cheddar soup
  5. 1 can potato soup
  6. Half bag of frozen peas
  7. 1 box frozen puffed pastry shells
Mix ingredients 1-6 together and place in crock-pot on high for 30 min.  Turn crock-pot down to low and cook for about an hour or more depending on your dinner plans.
Bake puffed pastry shell according to package just before you are ready to serve.
When puffed pastry shells are done, remove tops and fill with mixture from the crop-pot.   Enjoy!

Dessert :  Hutterite Sucre Pie
This recipe I found in a book I was reading called "I am Hutterite" by Mary-Ann Kirkby ( Wonderful book and I recommend it )
Easy, Easy, Easy all you need:

  1. 1 cup heavy cream
  2. 1 egg
  3. 2/3 Cup of sugar
  4. 2 tbsp. corn starch
  5. 1 prepared unbaked pie-shell ( bake pie shell in 350* over for 10 minutes)
  6. Cinnamon

Beat together ingredients 1-4 and pour into a cooled pie crust that has been baked for 10 minutes at 350*
Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for another 35-40 minutes
Serve pie warm <- this is a must      ( yummy, yummy, yummy)

   ENJOY!
